PBOT provides technical support, substantive expertise, logistical assistance and advise to several advisory committees. 

Central City in Motion Working Group

This group is charged with ensuring the successful implementation of Central City in Motion projects, advising the Director of the Portland Bureau of Transportation and Project staff on project design and monitoring performance.

Lloyd Meter Revenue Allocation Committee

The Lloyd Meter Revenue Allocation Committee, composed of representatives from neighborhood businesses, residents, and property owners, meets annually to recommend projects, programs, and services to be funded by meter revenue for the Lloyd Parking District

Central Eastside Transportation and Parking Advisory Committee

A committee of the Central Eastside Industrial Council (CEIC) established to provide parking and transportation self-governance for stakeholders, neighborhoods and the CEIC in a collaborative manner with PBOT

Fixing Our Streets Oversight Committee

The committee plays an important role in ensuring the accountability of the transportation safety and maintenance program voters created when in May 2016 they passed measure 26-173

Marquam Hill Meter District Revenue Allocation Advisory Committee

Committee is charged with the task of reviewing the City of Portland 1996 Parking Meter District Policy and create a plan for sharing the net meter revenue allocation for the Marquam Hill Meter District

Northwest Parking District Stakeholder Advisory Committee

The committee supports the economic vitality and the NW districts and efforts to maintain a friendly atmosphere for visitors

Columbia/Lombard Mobility Corridor Plan Advisory Group

Tasked with the charge of reviewing the Columbia/Mobility Corridor Plan and providing recommendations to project staff

Portland Streetcar Advisory Committee

The Portland Streetcar Advisory Committee provides feedback on Streetcar policies, policy implementation, and operations and service

Private for Hire Transportation Advisory Committee

The Private for Hire Transportation Advisory Committee provides input into the development and outcomes of policies, budget, regulations, and procedures that affect the City's PFHT program

Public Works Administrative Appeal Panel

The Public Works Administrative Appeal Panel is a decision making body that reviews Public Works Permit Appeal applications

Towing Board of Review

The Towing Board of Review oversees and regulates the performance of Tow Contractors and the Tow Desk

Vision Zero Task Force

Vision Zero Task Force provides direction to guide development and implementation of the Vision Zero Action Plan

Bureau and Budget Advisory Committee (BBAC) 17-18

PBOT convenes the Bureau and Budget Advisory Committee (BBAC) to provide advice and support to the bureau.

Pedestrian Advisory Committee (PAC)

The PAC advises the City of Portland – particularly the Bureau of Transportation – on matters that encourage and enhance walking as a means of transportation, recreation, wellness and environmental enhancement.

Portland Freight Committee

The Portland Freight Committee (PFC) serves as an advisory group to the Bureau of Transportation and City Council.

Sustainable City Government Partnership

Per Resolution #36468 creating the Sustainable City Government Partnership, each city bureau is required to develop a sustainability plan for their internal bureau operations.
