Mapping our Assets

PBOT's mapping staff have designed an infrastructure street surfaces map of our streets, curbs and sidewalks, that includes a street by street analysis of where we have unimproved streets, streets without curbs and where we are missing sidewalk infrastructure.

This map is one of the tools we can use to address inequities in our system, because step one is to clearly identify where the infrastructure is most lacking. From here we can overlay this information with demographic information that calls out some of the communities that historically in Portland have been the most underserved: communities of color and low income communities.
