What’s happening now?

The East Portland Active Transportation to Transit Project is officially under construction!

Construction Status:

This project is nearly complete, with only a few signals still needing to be fabricated and installed. 

Project Background and Description:

This project will help improve pedestrian access and safety along SE Division Street by constructing new sidewalk (where missing) between SE 101st and SE 143rd, new ADA-accessible corner ramps and driveways and 3 signalized pedestrian crossings at SE 115th Avenue, SE 132nd Avenue and SE 139th Avenue and Division Street. The project will also install the 130's Neighborhood Greenway which will provide a north-south bicycle connection between the I-84 multi-use path and the Springwater Corridor Trail.  Please see map below for the alignment of this neighborhood greenway.

$6.2 million ($4.2 million in federal funds, 1.4 million in Transportation System Development Charge funds and $600,000 in State Gas Tax Revenue)
