Nick had a great time at the 2009 Q Center Winter Gala and is looking forward to the 2010 Gala this Saturday, January 30.

The Gala, co-sponsored by Comcast; Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt; The Standard; and US Bank, will be held in the ballroom of The Nines, in downtown Portland. Host Brenda Braxton, of KGW News Channel 8, will present performers Tahoe Jackson, the Peter Petersen Orchestra, and Charlotte Treuse. The event will also feature winning entries from 'Portland in 60 Seconds,' a contest challenging locals to capture the essence of Portland in 60-second films. 

The Winter Gala also presents the 2010 Robert Speltz Community Service Awards to this year's winners: Gwenn Baldwin, of Baldwin Consulting; and the organizers of the Red Dress PDX Party, one of Portland's largest fundraisers for LGBTQ charities.
