The Portland Bureau of Transportation and Metro are offering a plethora of opportunities to get out and smell that fresh, clean air, courtesy of this month's rains.

SmartTrips' Ten Toe Express will be leading walks throughout east Portland this summer. The walks are held every Thursday evening and Saturday morning from now through September.

SmartTrips Senior Strolls holds easy, pleasant social walks for seniors every Wednesday morning from now through the beginning of October.

Metro will hold a number of Walk There! walks that follow some of the 50 routes from their popular walking book.
