World Cup kicks off this weekend at Director Park
June 7, 2010
There's no shortage of great spots to watch a World Cup game here in Soccer City USA - click here for the Oregonian's listing of local sites and check out Lee Williams' write-up of Piazza Italia in this morning's paper.
Portland Parks & Recreation has also teamed up with the Oregon Sports Authority, Alpha Broadcasting, TAOW Modern Marketing, and the Portland Timbers to bring you two games outside.
The US-England match will be shown this Saturday at 11:00 am in Director Park in downtown Portland, and on July 11 the final match will be shown at Pioneer Courthouse Square.
