Congratulations to all the folks who earned mention in the Willamette Week's "Best of Portland" issue.

Our wonderful Parks maintenance folks earned honorable mention in the "Most Underappreciated Person or Place" category, and the Smith and Bybee Lakes won mention as "Best Place to Run Through a Former Industrial Wasteland."

Congratulations are also in order to Diane Lund, whose excellent Lund Report was a winner in the Best Blog category, and to our friends at the Community Warehouse, whose Estate Store's Virtual Storefront won as well.

Also in the issue is a piece about an event Nick will host this Saturday at Lone Fir Cemetery (SE 28th and Stark.) At 6:00 pm, Nick will dedicate a Heritage Tree, and other activities are sure to keep you occupied until a screening of "Come Together Home" at 9:00 pm.
