This week featured several articles in media both locally and nationwide about the new homeless storage program. In addition to the USA Today story, two more articles were written about the program:
- The Huffington Post article by Lauren Sullivan: "Most shelters offer storage, but the spaces aren't large enough to accommodate individuals' belongings when they go to work -- leaving most to pay out of pocket for storage they can't afford." Read the full article
- Portland Mercury published their story on the homeless storage program as well: Business Group Weighs in... by Denis Theriault. "This is the first time we've been a part of anything that had this particular group of partners in it and was this focused," says Marc Jolin, JOIN's executive director." Read the full article
