A Century of Service
November 17, 2011
Today, Portland Parks & Recreation was very proud to honor 100-year old Dorothy Wustrack for her lifelong service to the Marquam Nature Park.
The charter Secretary of the Friends of Marquam Nature Park (MNP), Dorothy has been an enthusiastic fundraiser, steward of the park, and treasured partner of the Parks bureau.
She's famous for her gorgeous cursive, on display in her longhand meeting notes, as well as her positive attitude and true passion for our parks.
Nick and Director Mike Abbate sent a signed certificate of appreciation along with cupcakes to the celebration.
Tanner Springs Assisted Living provided coffee and a wonderful atmosphere.
Thanks to all who made this special celebration possible.
