Congratulations to the team at Parks, which once again scored very high marks in the City Auditor's annual community survey.

Over the last five years, Portlanders' satisfaction with their parks has hovered around 85% - this year, exactly 85% of people who answered the survey rated Portland's parks 'good or very good,' and 77% rated our recreation services 'good or very good.'

Also this year, more than 40% of responders reported visiting a park near their home either weekly or daily.

PP&R recently won the National Gold Medal Award for excellence in park system stewardship and management. Together with this positive feedback from the folks who use our parks, it's been a great couple of months for the team!
