Story by Sophia Kecskes
Last night, Nick had the pleasure of attending The Xerces Society's 40th Anniversary Party. The Xerces Society is a nonprofit organization that protects wildlife through the conservation of invertebrates and their habitat. For four decades, they've harnessed the knowledge of scientists and the enthusiasm of citizens to implement conservation programs.
The event was a tribute to the past, the present and the future of the Xerces Society; notable attendees included Xerces Society staff from across the country in addition to Xerces Society founder, Bob Pyle.
Congratulatoins to The Xerces Society for 40 years of great work!
