Jon Dye recently shared his story with the City Council. He is a homeless veteran.

According to some estimates, there are more than 100,000 homeless veterans in America. This is a national disgrace.

Mr. Dye spoke eloquently of his own journey, and of the need for programs that offer people a hand up.

Today, he is getting the help he needs through Bud Clark Commons.
