Congratulations to JOIN for 20 years of outstanding service in the fight against homelessness in our community!

On Friday, the local non-profit celebrated with the community at Westminster Presbyterian Church, and spent the evening reflecting on the past twenty years.  

JOIN has been a vital partner to the City in the fight against homelessness.  JOIN Executive Director Marc Jolin volunteers his time on the Portland Housing Bureau's Housing Advisory Commission, as well as the county-wide Coordinating Committee to End Homelessness.

Founded in 1992, JOIN supports the efforts of homeless individuals and families to transition out of homelessness into permanent housing.  Over the past ten years, the organization has moved an average of one person every day off the streets and into a permanent home.
