Home Forward is preparing to open waiting lists for several of its affordable homes in the Portland area.

The first waiting list will open for two affordable complexes in the New Columbia neighborhood starting Tuesday, June 26 through Thursday, June 28.   To qualify for these homes, residents must have a household income of less than 60 percent of the area median income.

Waiting lists for homes in Hollywood East, Northwest Tower, and Ruth Haefner Plaza will be open from Wednesday, July 11 through Friday, July 13. To qualify for residency, one person in the household must be 55 or older or have a verified disability, and the household income must be less than 80 percent of the area median income. 

Applications can be downloaded on the Home Forward website.
