The Portland Bureau of Transportation's (PBOT) neighborhood greenways are great streets for walking, biking and rolling to schools, parks, and businesses. PBOT's award winning Safe Routes to School program is hosting a party celebrating the Going Street neighborhood greenway.
Friday, September 14th from 3:00 - 6:00 pm
The event is free and includes:
- Free bike repair
- Free helmets (limited supply)
- Free sweet treats
- Free bike skills course
- Free BOUNCY CASTLE
- And great information on the best greenway routes to school (also free).
Seven elementary schools use the Going Street neighborhood greenway to walk, bike, or roll to school. We've invited them all and invite you to join us in the celebration!
