Celebrating Native Heritage
November 19, 2012
The Bureau of Environment Services (BES) and the City's Native American Heritage Month Committee are partnering to offer fun events and activities to celebrate Native American Heritage Month.
Events include learning more about Native history and challenges, Native plants, Native stories, and a Native American Marketplace with crafts and other goods.
To learn more about how you can join in and celebrate Native American heritage, visit BES online, or contact Marjorie Brown at (503) 823-7044.
Earlier this month, the City was pleased to issue a Proclamation celebrating Native American Heritage Month.
