You Can Help Make Our Most Crash-Prone Streets Safer

Historic crash data shows that a small percentage of our high-traffic streets account for 59% of road crashes in Portland. We refer to those arterials with exceptional concentrations of crashes as High Crash Corridors.

Two public meetings are scheduled and we welcome your participation and input on existing conditions, deficiencies for pedestrians, bicyclists and transit users, and other problem areas that may not show up in our data. Your input will help inform safety projects along these corridors.

The meetings are scheduled for:

Burnside High Crash Corridor Public Meeting

Wednesday, February 27, 6:30-8:30 PM

Buckman School Cafeteria

320 SE 16th Avenue

Portland, OR 97214

Accessible by Bus Lines #15, 20, 70

Sandy Boulevard High Crash Corridor Public Meeting

Wednesday, March 6, 6:30-8:30 PM

Hollywood Senior Center

1820 NE 40th Avenue

Portland, OR 97212

Accessible by Bus Lines #12, 75, 77 and MAX Red, Green and Blue lines
