This afternoon, Nick was honored to receive the Public Official of the Year Award from the Daily Journal of Commerce (DJC) at their annual Newsmakers Award Luncheon.

The DJC recognized Nick for his passion, his ability to solve problems, his deep commitment to listening to his constituents, and his leadership role in passing the Metro housing bond.

Nick was nominated for the award by Debbie Caselton, a Bureau of Environmental Services employee. Debbie, other BES staff, and Nick’s family joined him at the luncheon.
