Welcome Marielle!
August 29, 2019
Marielle serves as the Office Manager and Scheduler for Commissioner Fish.
Marielle moved to Portland in 2013 to attend Lewis and Clark College. She graduated in 2017 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Studio Art. Highlights from her undergraduate studies include: studying abroad in India and exhibiting her capstone artwork in the Ronna and Eric Hoffman Gallery of Contemporary Art.
Prior to joining Team Fish, Marielle worked as a staff assistant and driver for Senator Merkley, where she had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Oregon. Fun fact – Marielle has visited every county in Oregon!
At the Merkley office, Marielle discovered a love for communications and enjoyed participating in equity work, such as designing a training on microaggressions and a tool kit for gender neutral and gender inclusive pronoun use to supplement the onboarding process.
Marielle lives in NE Portland and enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and, two cats. Other things that make her happy include cooking, gardening, painting, petting dogs, and summer picnics.
