Please use the links on the left side of this page to read our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and to review standard or “package fees” for certain project types. You do not need to use the Online Fee Estimator for fee estimates on these types of projects.

The Online Fee Estimator attempts to capture the typical permit fees required to obtain a commercial or residential building permit. However, your Online Fee Estimate may not represent all the fees that will be charged during the course of your building permit application. Additional permits and/or fees may be required. Some of these depend on your specific property location—you will not choose a property with your online estimate.

The Fee Estimator includes the following fees:

• Building permit fees (residential or commercial)
• Review fees associated with the building permit
• System Development Charges (SDC’s)
• Trade permit fees (electrical, mechanical and plumbing work)
