More is happening. Environmental Services will construct a viewing platform near the culvert replacement that will allow visitors to look out over the refuge’s open water area. Keep an eye on the project webpage at www.portlandoregon.gov/bes/OaksBottom for more information. At that link, you can also watch video of building the salmon subway and critter cams for an insider’s look at wildlife in the refuge.
