Central Reach

Central Reach Boundary Map

The Central Reach stretches from roughly the Fremont Bridge to the Ross Island Bridge on the east side of the river, and includes the South Waterfront District on the west side of the river. The Central Reach is highly urban in nature, with the waterfront serving as the city's main civic space. The River Plan / Central Reach focuses on improved access to the river and waterfront, a clean and healthy river, and connections to other parts of the Central City. It will be developed as part of the Central City 2035 planning effort.

A Central Reach Working Group, an open membership group of river interests will meet periodically to support the Plan's development and implementation.
