What’s happening now?

This project is currently in its design phase, with construction anticipated to begin in Summer 2020.

Project Background and Description:

This project will make improvements to NE Cornfoot Road, from 47th Avenue to Alderwood Road. Construction will include a new 12’ wide multi-use pathway along NE Cornfoot Road. Additionally, there will be improvements to stormwater management, with the installation of an anticipated 8 stormwater planters. Lastly, there will be changes to existing curbs and driveways to ensure they are ADA accessible, improvements to the existing street lighting, and the installation of a new guardrail on the south side of Cornfoot Road.

Current Project Phase: Design

Total Project Budget: Both House Bill 2017 and System Development Charges have provided $2 million dollars of funding. In total, this projects budget is $4 million dollars.
